Magnolia Cafe Beaufort
Owners Ryan and Leah McCarthy have owned and operated Downtown Catering Company, Venue 1223, and The Downtown Deli in Bluffton for the last 20 years. Magnolia Cafe and Bakery was a favorite spot of theirs when they came to Beaufort. The McCarthys are excited to take their favorite Beaufort lunch spot and breathe new life into the atmosphere and dishes while serving each guest wtih the same hospitality and service that brings them the success they have south of the Broad. Leah McCarthy attended the USC Beaufort campus in the early 90’s before finishing her business degree at Coastal Carolina University. Ryan attended two years of culinary school before meeting Leah in 1999, and they opened their first restaurant in 2002. They are hardworking parents of three children and active in their church community.
